WCSO Kicks Off Fall Fund Raiser

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department will begin a Fall fund raiser this week by selling blankets customized to the department. The blankets feature a department patch and patrol car and is in the department’s uniform colors. The blankets are available for purchase at the Sheriff’s Department Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Orders may be placed by calling the Department Secretary Sharon Crist at 601-735-3801. The blankets are priced at $35.00 each.
The money raised during this fund raiser will be used to purchase hand held intoxylizers which are used by Deputies on patrol to measure blood alcohol levels in individuals suspected to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
