2007 Armed Robbery Case Cleared

On April 30th 2009, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department charged Jomorris Thornton and Theaus White with the August 3rd 2007 armed robbery of a resident in his house located in the 100 area of Sunlight Church Road. The charges stem from information obtained during the investigation process of an unrelated murder case that White and Thornton have been charged. Wayne County Justice Court Judge Charles Britton Sr. set bond at $50,000.00 for each defendant. This case will be presented to the June 2009 Wayne County Grand Jury.
