WCSO Arrests Two Individuals In 2008 Murder Case

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department arrested and charged two individuals with capitol murder, armed robbery, and burglary of a dwelling for the January 4th 2008 incident wherein Norman Howard was killed in a home invasion robbery. The incident occurred at the victim’s residence located on Landfill Road.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department arrested Labrodrick Gray Thursday evening. The Jones County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department in arresting Sandy Powe IV Monday at a job site in Jones County.
Wayne County Justice Court Judge Charles Brittion Sr. set bonds totaling $1,000,000.00 for each of the individuals. The case will be presented to the June 2009 Wayne County Grand Jury. The investigation is ongoing and no more specifics are being released.
