WCSO Investigates Armed Robber of Buckatunna Exxon

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the December 14th 2010, armed robbery of the Buckatunna Exxon. The incident was captured on the store video surveillance system. At approximately 2145hrs an individual entered the store wearing a hooded jacked, ski mask, and gloves, displayed what appeared to be a sawed off shotgun and demanded the money. The individual left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Deputies Charles Everett, Jamey Beard, Michael Patton, Chris Nowell, and Investigator Kevin Stevens responded to the call.
Anyone that may have information related to this incident is asked to call the Wayne County Sheriff's Department at 735-3801 or Crime Stoppers at 735-LEAD (5323). You can also submit information online using our "Submit a Tip" form. A cash reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
