WCSO Investigates Armed Robbery Of Buckatunna Exxonn

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department received a call reporting that the Exxon Station in Buckatunna was robbed at gun point Sunday Morning shortly after 0600 hours. Deputy Charles Everett, Investigator Mike Mozingo, and Chief Deputy Gerald Barnett responded. The video surveillance system captured the incident on video. An individual wearing a white make shift mask entered the store, displayed a firearm, and demanded money. An undisclosed amount of money was taken. Anyone that may have information related to this incident is asked to call the Wayne County Sheriff's Department at 735-3801 or Crime Stoppers at 735-LEAD (5323). You can also submit information online using our "Submit a Tip" form. A cash reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
