WPD & WCSO Arrest Thompson With Stolen Four-Wheeler

On May 26th 2008, John Ray Thompson was arrested and charged with grand larceny. Deputies Charles Everett and Michael Patton were responding to the report of a four wheeler theft on Highway 184 West. About the time they listened to the Waynesboro Police Department dispatch Officer Brian Everett to Wendy’s because someone was in their flowerbeds on a four-wheeler. Officer Brian Everett stopped Thompson on the four-wheeler on Fairview Drive and detained him for Deputies Everett and Patton. Wayne County Sheriff’s Department charged Thompson with grand larceny and the Waynesboro Police Department charged Thompson with DUI. Wayne County Justice Court Judge Charles Britton Sr. set Thompson’s bond at $5,00.00.
