WCSO Website Back Online
March 30, 2010
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department announces that the Department’s website is back online and operational beginning today. The site began experiencing technical issues earlier in the year and became completely inoperable in March. Gary Reynolds of Gratr Graphics and Design analyzed the website, publishing software, and the server and discovered that a complete reinstall was needed. The site was originally launched in May 2004, with Reynolds of Gratr Graphics and Design building and designing the site. The website may be accessed now as updates are resuming, beginning with the current weeks Jail Docket.
The site has had approximately 353,000 visitors, and worked flawlessly for six years. We apologize for the inconvenience during the down time. The purpose of the site is to keep citizens abreast of law enforcement news in Wayne County and stream line communications with various news media. said Sheriff Stein Farrior.
