WCSD officers responded to 659 incidents during the last 28 days. Officers also held 151 premises checks of business and schools in the area. “ I want to thank the brave men and women who have dedicated their lives to protecting our communities,” said WC Sheriff Jody Ashley. “While this report is good news, we remain diligent in our efforts to ensure Wayne County remains the safest place to live and raise a family,” added Ashley.
