The Wayne County Sheriff's Department arrested two men for possession of meth with intent to sell Saturday morning. Drug investigators officers Johnny Smith and Macy Torrey arrested David Shawn Cooley and Lamar Smith of 40 Stringer Road. The officers seized two ounces of meth, scales and bags.“Narcotics is working hard here to clean up Wayne County and making it a safe and better place,” said Sheriff Jody Ashley. Cooley and Smith made their initial appearance in court Sunday, with Smith also facing charges for cyber stalking. Bond was set for both at $100,000 each.
