Sheriff Jody Ashley would like to welcome Investigator Jamey Beard and his wife Bethany's new baby boy, Braisen Abe Beard to the Wayne County Sheriff's Department family. He was born on February 28, 2016 at South Central Regional Hospital in Laurel. He weighed 5 pounds, fifteen ounces and was 19 inches long.
