Multi Agency Fugitave Arrest Leads To Drug Charges

A multi agency operation was successfully conducted at approximately 2000 hours on April 17th 2012, and resulted in the arrest of a wanted fugitive along with two other individuals in Wayne County. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, The South Mississippi Narcotics Task Force, and the United States Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force executed an arrest warrant at a residence located on Geed Chapman Drive.

 

Jeremy Keith Holcombe was wanted on warrant for burglary in Clarke County, Ms and also for probation violation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Officers converged on the residence and arrested Holcombe at the residence. During the arrest, officers observed drug paraphernalia in the residence. The residence and two additional occupants were secured and a search warrant was obtained. A search of the premises revealed approximately 15 grams of crystal methamphetamine, approximately 7 grams of marijuana, prescription drugs, scales and baggies.

 

Jeremy Keith Holcombe, Jessica Rena Crowder, and Brian David Slaton was arrested and charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana.

 

Sheriff Darryl Woodson, Chief Investigator Mike Mozingo, Investigator Kevin Stevens, Deputies Michael Patton, and Johnathan Platt, and SMNTF Agent Joey Moulds participated in the operation along with the United States Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force.
