WCSO Investigates Burglary On Oscar Brownlee Road

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department responded to a burglary on the Oscar Brownlee Road on Thursday, January 13th 2011. Deputies Patrick Johnson, Jamey Beard, Kyle Smith, Chief Deputy Gerald Barnett, and Investigators Mike Mozingo and Kevin Stevens responded. The homeowner returned home and encountered a white male wearing camouflage and gloves in her home. The burglar pushed the homeowner down and fled out the rear door. Several items had been staged near the rear door. The homeowner sustained minor injuries. Physical evidence was collected at the crime scene.
